The first Duty Free in a zone of an arrival will open in Russia

At the international airport of Vladivostok defined the winner of competition on the right of the conclusion of the lease contract for placement of an outlet of Duty Free in an arrival zone. As a result of open competitive procedure, according to the established requirements, the commission recognized as the winner of JSC Dera Vladivostok.

Let’s note that today Duty Free duty free shops in Russia exist only in departure zones, thus more than in 60 countries of the world they work and for arrival.

In June, 2015 the Euroasian economic commission (EEK) supported an opening initiative in zones of arrival of the Russian airports of Duty Free shops. All participating countries, except Belarus, supported an initiative. Further the corresponding amendment will be introduced in the new code of the Customs union then duty free shops will start to work and at arrival before customs control for the passengers arriving to the country.

«For three years the association of duty free shops watches a situation in matter advance. At the moment in the customs legislation is in a completion stage. In October of this year the next meeting at intergovernmental level should take place. It is clear that the matter will be discussed not one month», – the general director of the won company Sergey Petlin commented on a situation, having added that nevertheless is optimistic and sure that these amendments will be shortly adopted

In the press service of JSC International Airport Vladivostok noted that the air enterprise the strategic objective puts entry into top ten the airports of the Asian and Pacific region by 2017 on quality of service of passengers.
