Great Britain: only 5 % of airstrikes of Russia have on YOKES

Only 5 % of the Russian airstrikes across Syria had the purpose so-called «The Islamic state», the Minister of Defence of Great Britain declared.

In interview to the The Sun edition Michael Fellon also told that the majority of blows was the share of insurgent formations, including Free Syrian army supported by the West. Civilians became victims of bombardments also.

Words of the Minister of Defence of Great Britain sounded next day after the statement of the U.S. President Barack Obama that civil war in Syria will not develop into proxy war between the USA and Russia which at the same time put airstrikes on different groups on territories of Syria.

According to Obama, strategy of Russia on support of the Syrian president Bashar Assad is not popular in the international community.

«In a coalition of mister Putin – Iran and Assad, – told the president. – Other world with us. It not seems to me that people were deceived by this strategy. It does not mean that we do not see that Putin starts to understand that contribution to political settlement – in its interests».

Russia continues to bomb Syria, without paying attention to Obama’s proposals to develop the political decision in which Assad will not participate. During the summit in Paris the president of France Fransuya Olland told to the Russian colleague that airstrikes across Syria should be limited only to the territory «Islamic state».

On Friday in the United Nations the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Syria Waleed Muallem defended actions of Russia: «Vladimir Putin’s important proposal to create the international anti-terrorist coalition in the region got attention and support of the Syrian government. Terrorism not to win only air strikes. All previous attempts led only to its further distribution. Airstrikes are useless, while they are not put in cooperation with the Syrian army – the unique force in Syria fighting against terrorism». Muallem added that his government is ready to take part in meetings of the working groups under the aegis of the United Nations to reach the peace agreement.
