The Russian aircraft destroyed 55 objects of Islamists in Syria

The Russian Aerospace forces in days made in Syria 64 fighting departures from air base Hmeymim near Latakia. The official representative of the Ministry of Defence of Russia reported about it major general Igor Konashenkov, broadcasts RIA Novosti news agency.

According to him, blows are struck to 55 objects of «The Islamic state». «Growth of intensity of fighting departures of our aircraft is connected with significant increase in number of the revealed means air and space reconnaissance of the land purposes on all territory of the Syrian Arab Republic», – Konashenkov told.

He added that as a result of blow on base of military equipment of fighters in the province of Aleppo more than 10 units of equipment, including five BMP and two tanks are destroyed. Besides, the Su-24M bombers attacked large укрепрайон fighters to the east Tel-Alyam in the same region.

«On this object there were beforehand equipped weapon emplacements, positions of mortar artillery, and also zaglublenny warehouses of ammunition and the food», – Konashenkov noted. The representative of the Ministry of Defence also informed that the Russian planes in days killed two command points of fighters, a warehouse of ammunition in the province of the Boor, 29 field camps of terrorists, 23 strengthened points and defensive positions with arms and military equipment.

Operation of the Russian aircraft in Syria began on September 30. The structure of aviation group includes over 50 planes and helicopters, including Su-24M, Su-25 and Su-34. On October 7 the ships of the Caspian flotilla armed with the shock Calibre complex were connected to operation of the Russian VKS. With a request for rendering of the military help for counteraction to "The Islamic state» (the terrorist organization forbidden in Russia) to Moscow the president of Syria addressed.
