In the Crimea the first squadron of sea aircraft Su-30СМ

is created

In the Crimea the squadron of sea aircraft armed with Su-30CM planes is created. The representative of the Black Sea fleet Vyacheslav Trukhachev reported about it RIA Novosti news agency.

«The structure of a separate sea assault aviation regiment of the Black Sea fleet replenished with three more multipurpose fighters Su-30CM», – Trukhachev declared.

Planes arrived to a place of a constant dislocation on Saki’s airfield and prepare for performance of flights according to the input program in a system of new equipment. Trukhachev noted that after receipt of cars as a part of a regiment the aviation squadron by planes of this type is created.

Now as a part of the 43rd Sevastopol separate sea assault aviaregiment of sea aircraft of the BSF which is based on airfield of Saki (till 2014 – in airfield Guards), already eight units of Su-30CM. According to the plan of updating of plane park, the fighters Su-30CM should replace step by step the front Su-24M bombers which make a basis of forces of a regiment.

The multipurpose supermaneuverable fighter Su-30CM made on Irkutsk aircraft factory of Irkut corporation, is adaptation for the Russian Air Force of the export planes Su-30MKM and Su-30МКИ which were earlier delivered in India, Malaysia and Algeria. Su-30CM planes are transferred both in the Russian VKS, and in sea aircraft, by 2020 their total on arms can reach 170-180 boards.
