The marines of the USA look narrowly to micro-dronu

On an exposition of "Modern Day Marine" the latest was presented micro-dron «A black hornet».

Special divisions of marines of army of the USA started to apply «PD-100 Black Hornet» (A black hornet), however producers of this micro-drona see potential for much wider use among usual combatant forces.

Created by the Prox Dynamics company, this portable helicopter is the powerful instrument of supervision which is hard for finding. It was presented on Tuesday on «Modern Day Marine» exposition.

James Mitchell, the veteran of marines representing «Prox Dynamics», reported that the throne which the company calls «personal prospecting system», can trace movements of the opponent, investigate suspicious objects, and help armies to look through corridors or that is not visible behind buildings. Mitchell also told that the throne is improbably simple in use, having added that he learned to work with it after only 20 minutes of an intensive course.

Mitchell served as the commander of office from the 1st battalion of marines which is based in Camp-le Jeune, the State of North Carolina. He told that «The black hornet» can appear the savior in fight. Commanders do not need to send the any more fighters to examine a vehicle which can contain explosives. Instead, the first check can be executed by means of the micro-drona.

«Everything of what I can think», – told it, «it why I had no such piece in Afghanistan».

«The black Hornet» has three chambers: one in front, one below under 45 degrees and a third which is directed directly down. These chambers can be used for video capture in real time.

Its range makes about one mile, limiting height of lifting about 10000 foots. Can hang on one place till 20-25 minutes.

All design weighs 2,8 pounds and can be established on ammunition of soldiers. It is delivered with two thrones, everyone is powerful slightly ounce more than a half. The controler, the monitor and stykovochny station also enter.

Each helicopter is charged about 20 till 25 minutes to reach 90 % of a charge, and it means that when one throne loses the capacity, the second is ready to flight. The system can be charged from the ordinary socket, a car charger or from the standard military battery 5590 which in army use for a charging of handheld transceivers.
