Stratfor: Turkey intends to close the sky over Syria
Turkey wants to close air space over Syria, having declared it a bespoletny zone. Such offer was made by the president of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the prospecting and analytical company Stratfor reports.
It is a question of 40-80 kilometer site on Syrian-Turkish border. By Erdogan’s plans, this zone appears free from terrorism, and in its limits will be set up camp for refugees that the Syrian migrants could live in the territory of the country.
Thereby Ankara will solve at once some tasks, notes the edition: decrease in a flow of migrants to Turkey, and also barrier creation from IGIL.
For implementation of the plan Erdogan decided to use the uncertainty which has arisen after intervention in the Syrian conflict of Russia.
The edition notes that having closed the sky over Syria, Turkey should force down all Russian planes which will break borders of a bespoletny zone.
The day before the president of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared that Russia risks to lose friendship with his country because of incidents in air space of the republic.
