The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation accused the USA of not selective use of weapons

Moscow resolutely condemns an airstrike of the American aircraft on civil object in the city of Kunduz in the north of Afghanistan as a result of which the hospital of the international organization "Doctors without borders" on October 3 was destroyed. Maria Zakharova declared it on Monday the official representative the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The Russian diplomat as reports TASS, reminded that in hospital at the moment of bombing there were more than 100 patients and 80 doctors. Attack, according to news agencies, led to death of more than 20 staff of hospital and patients. About 40 more people got wounds.

"Representatives" of doctors without borders" called an airstrike rough violation of international law, – Maria Zakharova emphasized. – It is difficult to disagree with this conclusion. Bewilderment causes that fact that attack was made, despite granting to forces of the international coalition of exact coordinates of hospital for prevention of possible attacks. According to statements of the international organization, at the moment of attack in hospital there were no fighters of extremist groups… It should be noted that it is far not the first case when in Afghanistan because of not selective application by Americans of arms peace citizens perish. Resolutely we condemn an airstrike on civil object".

"We demand immediate objective investigation happened and punishments guilty of the tragedy. We present sincere condolences to families of victims, we wish the fastest recovery by the victim", – summed up the Russian diplomat.
