The Turkish Security Council discussed incidents with the Russian planes

The security council of Turkey which has gone to the residences prime minister Ahmet Davutogla, discussed incident with the Russian military planes which have intruded in air space of the country. About it it is told in the statement placed on an official site of the head of the government of Turkey.

As it is specified in the message, «at a meeting the events occurring in Syria, and the facts of violation of Syrian-Turkish border», and also possible measures which will be undertaken in case of further incidents were in details discussed, in addition. In the text it is said that NATO was expressed already by solidarity with Turkey.

On October 6 the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey declared that the Russian military plane broke air space of the country the second time for the last three days. The Ministry of Defence of Turkey reported about MiG-29 of unknown accessory which aimed Turkish fighters.

As a part of the Russian aviagroup developed in Syria, MiG-29 is not present planes. These fighters, however, are been armed by the Air Force of Syria and Iran.

One more incident occurred a day earlier, on October 3. Russian Su-30 for some seconds appeared in air space of Turkey. Reaction of NATO and the USA was almost instant and rigid. In particular, at a special session of council of NATO her participants demanded from Russia to stop invasion into air space of Turkey. At meeting of ambassadors Russia urged to abstain from now on from such actions, and in case of their commission «immediately to speak». Representatives of NATO also noted «extreme danger of such irresponsible behavior».

On Monday, October 5, Hurriyet Daily News reported that the Russian fighter Su-30 intruded in air space of Turkey because of a navigation mistake. About the reason of the incident which has occurred on October 3, Russia itself informed Turkey.

Operation of the Russian aircraft in Syria began on September 30. The structure of aviation group includes over 50 planes and helicopters, including Su-24M, Su-25 and Su-34. With a request for rendering of the military help for counteraction to "The Islamic state» (the terrorist organization forbidden in Russia) to Moscow the Syrian leader Bashar Assad addressed. Besides Russia which supports from air of the Syrian army, blows on fighters put forces of a coalition led by the USA.
