Ukraine completely will stop an aircraft service with Russia
Ukraine decided to stop completely the aviation message with Russia since October 25, is told in the press release of the Ukrainian ministry of infrastructure.
In the message it is noted that such decision is accepted «in connection with an answer unaccordance from Federal agency of air transport the Russian Federation (Rosaviation) with an explanation of the reasons of restriction of flights to the Ukrainian airlines».
«Such measure will operate before cancellation of the ban entered by the aviation authorities of the Russian Federation in relation to the Ukrainian airlines», – is told in the message. In the ministry emphasized that after cancellation of restrictions concerning the Ukrainian carriers the Russian airlines which have not got to the sanktsionny list, can renew flights to Ukraine.
On September 29 the Rosaviation sent to the Ukrainian airlines of the notice of a ban of flights to Russia since October 25. This step became the answer to similar measures of Kiev – on September 16 the decree about introduction of sanctions against Russia was signed by the president of Ukraine Peter Poroshenko. More than two tens carriers got to a black list, in particular "Aeroflot" and "Transaero". "Utair" appeared the unique large Russian air carrier which has not got under sanctions.
The minister of transport of Russia Maxim Sokolov at the end of September noted that when restrictions will come into force, to Ukraine Russians should fly with changes through Belarus, Moldova or Turkey. From mutual restrictions on flights the official estimated losses of airlines of Russia and Ukraine in 7-8 billion rubles a year.
Thus the general director of service on booking of tickets "Tutu.Ra" told earlier to "Lente.R" that this year nearly 77 percent of all air tickets bought on a resource to Ukraine are the share of flights of Russian carriers, from them on "Aeroflot" – 22,6 percent, "Siberia" – 22,2 percent, "Transaero" – 18,5 percent, "Utair" – 13,3 percent.
According to Rosaviation, the passenger traffic between Russia and Ukraine in eight months 2015 made about 800 thousand people.
