The Syrian TV reported about blows of aircraft of the Russian Federation near Palmira

The Russian planes struck blows to group positions «The Islamic state» (YOKES) in vicinities of Palmira. About it reports Reuters referring to the report of the Syrian state television.

As reports the TV channel quoting a military source, blows were put near Palmira and in the north of the province Haleb (Aleppo).

During blows in vicinities of Palmira 20 units of equipment and three warehouses of arms were destroyed. In the province Haleb blows were put near the cities of El Bab and Deyr-Hafir, approximately in 20 kilometers from air base withheld by governmental armies which is besieged by forces of YOKES.

The Syrian military source specified RIA Novosti news agency that blows were put on October 5 on positions of fighters in vicinities of Palmira and in 80 kilometers from the city, near the settlement El-Karyateyn.

Earlier, on September 30, the Russian aircraft began military operation against forces of YOKES. Air blows on fighters of YOKES in Syria put 50 planes and helicopters, including Su-24M, Su-25 and Su-34. Armed forces of the Russian Federation act under the order of the president of the country of Vladimir of Putin who has received a request for the military help from official Damascus.

«The Islamic state» – terrorist group, summer of 2014 proclaimed caliphate creation in the grasped territories of Syria and Iraq. Its activity in the territory of Russia is forbidden.
