Venezuela will get at the Russian Federation not less than 12 fighters SU

Venezuela will buy from Russia at least 12 new planes of SU for the armed forces, the president of the South American country Nicolas Maduro declared on Sunday. He acted on air base Libertador in the state Aragua where paid a memory tribute to two pilots of the fighter Su-30 which broke on September 17 around border with Colombia.

"I will talk to president Vladimir Putin to bring not less than 12 new SU and to replace what was lost, we will fight against a narcotraffic and to protect our country", – told to Maduro.

He added that to the country the new military equipment from China, according to the signed agreements that will allow to strengthen country armed forces will arrive also. "I instructed to strengthen fight against a narcotraffic in air, on the earth, on the rivers and the sea, from where it was, first of all, from Colombia", – emphasized with Maduro.

According to the Ministry of Defence of Venezuela, the broken fighter Su-30 took off on interception of the aircraft moving in the direction of Colombia. Allegedly, it was the easy plane belonging to a drug mafia. The plane crash reasons while remain unknown, it is expected that interpretation of the found flight recorder will help to establish them. According to the decision of the head of state the rank of majors of the Air Force was appropriated to the lost pilots.
