The U.S. Air Force showed in Latvia a new bespilotnik

On air base in Latvia the American Air Force showed to Lilvarda new model of the pilotless device MQ-1 Predator which was not applied before in Europe.

On demonstration there was a president of Latvia Raymonds Veyonis. He declared that Latvia considers possibility of acquisition of own BPLA.

According to him, this demonstration is important for creation of climate of mutual cooperation between partners in NATO.

The former Soviet air base to Lilvarda was recently essentially modernized.

The new model of a bespilotnik is capable to bear rocket arms, but is used generally in the prospecting purposes.
