General Staff of the Russian Federation: the aircraft struck more than 50 objects of YOKES in Syria

During the Syrian military operation by the Russian pilots more than 50 objects of infrastructure of the organization «Islamic state» which activity is forbidden in the territory of the Russian Federation were struck.

It in was declared by the chief of the Head operational management of the General Staff of VS Russian Federation colonel general Andrey Kartapolov. It also made specification that blows were put on communication centers, warehouses with ammunition and to camps on preparation of fighters of YOKES.

«Since September 30 of this year the Russian aircraft made more than 60 самолетовылетов in the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic with a problem of drawing of defeat to more than 50 objects of infrastructure of the IGIL terrorist organization. These are management points, warehouses with ammunition and explosive, communication centers, miniplants on production of the weapon of suicide bombers, camp of preparation of fighters», – the colonel general declared.

Kartapolov added that blows were made round the clock from military air base "Hmeymim". He noted that three days sufficed the Russian VKS to undermine material base of terrorists and noticeably to reduce their fighting potential.

On September 30 the Federation Council of the Russian Federation approved the proposal of president Vladimir Putin to involve the Russian Aerospace forces in Syria for fight against terrorists of «The Islamic state». With a request for it to Moscow the Syrian president Bashar Assad addressed.
