Mass media reported about readiness of Russia for drawing of airstrikes in Syria

Moscow is ready to begin at any time airstrikes in Syria to support armies of president Bashar Assad and to stop approach of «The Islamic state» and other groups. About it writes Los Angeles Times referring to data of the American investigation.

In drawing of airstrikes can be involved 28 fighters and the attack planes which have been secretly thrown on airfield in the Syrian province Latakia, approves the edition. According to the intelligence data, all to Syria 12 strike fighters of Su-24, as much attack planes of Su-25 and four fighters Su-30 are thrown.

Sources in Washington reported that planes arrived to Syria with the switched-off transponder – the devices, allowing to trace their location. As writes Los Angeles Times, they were thrown accompanied by the Russian transport An-124 planes which used a commercial air passage over Iran and Iraq.

«Jet planes are ready to drawing of blows at any time, at the moment for this purpose there are no obstacles», – declared a source close to the American investigation.

The Russian scout planes this week already started to fly over positions of fighters in the northwest of Syria, approves Los Angeles Times. The Russian bespilotnik carry daily out raids over provinces Latakia and the Boor, supervised by Assad’s army, and the province Idlib which considerable part is grasped by fighters.

On base in Latakia, according to the American newspaper, 16 helicopters, nine T-90 tanks and artillery are also delivered. In the territory of air base will develop the modular small town calculated on two thousand military personnel. Besides, for ensuring take off and landing of planes the new dispatching tower is constructed.

On September 24 the Syrian observatory on human rights (to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, SOHR) declared use of new Russian planes for drawing of airstrikes on fighters of «The Islamic state» in Syria. On the same day the Bloomberg agency reported about expected plans of Moscow to bomb positions of fighters without coordination with the international coalition headed by the USA. The question of sending to Syria Russian army parts refused to make comments on the Kremlin.

On September 22 the French mass media told about receiving the Russian air fighting vehicles by Damascus.

On September 21 fighters of «The Syrian free army» published the video made, allegedly, around the province Homs on YouTube. On record the Il-76 military transport plane (probably, its option – the Il-78 tanker) accompanied by four Su-24 bombers in a coloring is visible, to characteristic Russia for the Air Force.

Civil war proceeds in Syria since 2011. During this time in the country more than 230 thousand people were lost. About 11,5 million Syrians – more than a half of the population of the country – were compelled to leave the houses. Insurgents support overthrow of president Bashar Assad.

The organization «Islamic state» (YOKES) is forbidden in Russia as extremist group.
